Autumn Looks #2

Another look I did and it is truly the same steps as my last Autumn look just a slight change in the products! My first Autumn look can be found here- http://themakeupbloggers.blogspot.com/2012/11/fall-inspire.html

Products:

Mac brushes- 239, 217
Mac e/s- Chrome Yellow
Maybelline Eye Studio- Give me Gold

Before we go into steps, this look is really simple to complete.
There is not a lot of blending needed to do and it is simple to complete if you are in a rush.

Step 1: Apply primer all over your eye. I chose Mac paint pot in painterly. Using my ring finger I spread the color out.

Step 2: Pick up your 239 and go into the pallet "Give me Gold" there are 4 colors. The one I used is the 1 shade from the left it is a pale sparkle color. In a packing motion (Up and down) apply this color in the tear duct and lid area. Make sure to leave room for the yellow we will be using next.

Step 3: Pick up your 217 and go into the third shade to the right. It is a copper with gold in it.  In a windshield motion blend this gorgeous color into the yellow. Make sure you blend so it looks fluent!

Last but not least just line your eyelids. I chose to do a cat eye but that is totally optional!

Tropical

This is a very bright/fun look and it will lift anyone's spirits!
So what will we need and how do we complete this masterpiece?

Items:

~Mac products~
•239,217
•Chrome Yellow e/s

~The rest of the products~
•NYX Jumbo eye pencil in MILK
•Maybelline eye studio in Forest fury
•NYC eyeliner in Pearl Black

Step 1: Apply primer all over your eye. I chose NYX Jumbo eye pencil in MILK. Using my ring finger I spread the color out.

Step 2: Next I grabbed my 239 and I dipped the brush into MAC's Chrome Yellow. In a patting motion apply this color. It took me a couple of times to get the yellow this vibrant but if you don't want to 'waste' product you can pat the shade on once, it is still going to be pigmented. Be sure to pat the yellow on all over the lid area.

Step 3: Put your 239 brush down and now pick up your 239. In the Maybelline pallet in Forrest Fury there are 5 shades we are using the V shaped color or the 4th shade in the pallet. Swirl your 217 in the shadow pan and then in a back and forth motion blend in the green. Make sure to blend it into the yellow as well. On the top of the forest green apply a light lime color which is in the pallet. It is the 3rd shade go into the color and in a back and forth motion on top of the darker green blend it in.

Step 4: Last but not least line your eyes I chose to do a cat eye effect!

Pinky Swear

Totally pink! The cool part is there was not much used in this look. Below is the steps and products used.

Products used~
•Mac brush- 239, 212
•Mac Pigment- Fuchsia
•NYX Pigment- Baby pink
•Mac e/s in Carbon
•Mac paint pot in Painterly

Before I go into the steps I would like to tell everyone the trick to this look is wetting your brush's with a bit of water! No it will not ruin them but, it creates a more vivid application of the pigment.

Step 1: Apply any primer I chose Mac's paint pot in Painterly. With my ring finger I blend the base up to my eyebrow.

Step 2: With a drop of water wet your 239 brush then dip it into Mac pigment in Fuchsia. In patting motion I applied the fuchsia/pink all of my lid. You can go back into the pigment for more of a vibrant look if you like.

Step 3: With the same brush go into NYX pigment in Baby Pink. Right on top of the fuchsia pigment pat on the baby pink. Apply the pink were you would apply the lid color. Keep on patting the color on until it is bright.

Step 4: Line the eyelids with mac carbon. I used the 212 brush wet and went into the eye shadow. I lined in a cat eye look. To achieve the 'cat eye look' line like you would normal then pull out from a corner and connect the lines you have made.

OPTIONAL!

I added glitter using NYX glitter pallet in Paradise and tapped it in the corner of my eye and on my eyelid.

You Spark!

You sparkle :D
Items used:
•Mac 217,239
•Wet n Wild Mega sparkle in WHITE
•Mac e/s- Orange, Chrome yellow, Improper copper, GESSO
•Mac paint pot in Painterly

Steps below!

  • First apply a primer. I am using Mac paint pot and I applied this with my ring finger and blended it up to my brow bone.
  • Next grab your 239 brush and Mac Chrome Yellow. In a patting motion which is up and down apply the vivid yellow. I put the yellow all over my eyelid but you may not want to do that because it does make blending harder.
  • Now grab your 217 and go into orange. Right on top of the yellow blend this color in a side to side motion. To make this color more red/copper I used Mac improper copper and blended it into Mac Orange.
  • Lastly I switched back to my mac 239 and applied glitter on top of the yellow. The glitter is Wet n wild's mega sparkle in white. To apply this all you have to do is pat it on, as you can see in the photo I did use alot but you don't have to.
  • The last step is to line your eyes and apply mascara. To line I did a cat eye affect which you can do by first lining a straight line. Then extend the line and make it thicker. When you do this step you will see as you extend the line will get thicker.

Natural #2

This is another natural eye but this time I am using different colors and tools. I was experimenting with my cream liner in plum and i though why not do a natural smokey look with a vibrant touch!
     Items used:
•Mac brush- 224,239,212
•Mac e/s- Copperplate, Gesso, Wedge
•Wet n wild Cream Liner in Purple
•Mac paint pot in painterly

Step 1: Apply primer all over your eyelid using your ring finger. Blend the primer up to the brow bone.

Step 2: Grab your 239 and mac eye shadow in GESSO. In the corner of your eye apply the vivid white then apply it on the eyelid.

Step 3: Grab your 224 brush and dip it into Copperplate. In a back and forth motion also called window shield motion blend the soft brown into the white. This brush is super fluffy so if you are not the best blender you will still get fabulous results because it is made to smoke out looks. On top of the brown apply a titch lighter shade. I oped into wedge, with the same brush blend the color right on top of the brown. Sometimes people find it easier to blend on top of the crease so what ever works best for you!

Step 4: Using a 212 flat brush go into the cream liner. I did a cat eye but you can always keep it simple.

Candy Corn

Hey guys this is a Halloween look I did yesterday and I was inspired by candy corn!
I have step by step below and the products used!

Items used:
•Mac e/s in- Orange,Chrome Yellow
•Elf complete the look pallet- red
•Mac - 224,239,217
•NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Milk

Step 1: Apply a primer. I used Nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk. To apply the primer I used my ring finger and blended it up to my brow bone.

Step 2: Grab your 239 brush and Mac eye shadow in orange. In a patting motion pat on the orange color. Apply the color all over the eyelid. Using the same brush go into Chrome Yellow blend it in a side to side motion make sure you keep the yellow in the middle of your eyelid. You can add as much of the color as you want just make sure it blends and looks fluent.

Step 4: In the ELF pallet there is a red which is in the 7th column 6th row. Using a 224 dip your brush into the color and blend in a windshield motion which is back and forth. Do not blend the red into the orange on the lid, blend on top of it. You can pack on the red since it may be a little sheer. The way to do that is take your brush and go into the color and blend side to side then repeat the same step until you are satisfied.

Step 5: Apply liquid liner and create a cat eye shape
