Holiday I

This is my first holiday look! I really liked how this came out and the best thing is you don't need to do much of anything, well lets not get carried away you still have to do the blending part but it is super easy and effortless. I should really make a video so I can reference it! Today I also below listed the meaning of some words so it can help like the word "patting motion" it can often be mistaken for side to side motions.

So here is Holiday I

Vibrant and just the right colors to flow with this Christmas holiday coming up. You could possibly do this for Thanksgiving too which is on Thursday. Now what products did I use?

              • Mac brush's - 239,217
              • Nyx jumbo eye pencil in Milk
              • Maybelline Studio pallet in Forrest Fury, and Give me gold
              • NYC liner ( it is black and is called black pearl and has no name!)

Step 1: Apply primer with your ring finger and blend all around the eye. I chose Nyx jumbo eye pencil in Milk!

Step 2: Grab your 239 brush and go into the studio pallet in the pallet Give Me Gold. There are 5 colors go into the second shade from the left. In a patting motion'1' apply this true gold in the tear duct area also know pat up to the lid.

Step 3:  Now pick up your 217 and go into  the Forrest Fury pallet. There are 5 shades the first color we will be going into is the "V" shaped color. It should look like a dark Forrest green. In a window shield motion'2' blend this lovely shade in. Do not blend up to the eyebrow please! What may help you blend in keeping in mind it is really just back and forth and sometimes circular motions that make up blending.

Step 4: Using the same brush go into the shade from the left, I will call it "Limey." Using your same 217 blend it right on top of the Forrest green. I do this backwards, some people like to apply the lime first then in the inner V to add more depth apply the green. What ever works for you. Last but not least line your eyelids!

1- Patting motion is when you take your brush and tap up and down. It makes colors more vibrant rather than rubbing this shade in. Since we normally only pat light shades for the lid and pigments/glitters it is important to know this step.

2- Window shield motion is when you blend. It is blending back and forth, think of a car when it is raining. It is the process of "smoking" a shade into your crease. This can be done in circular motions as well. Just get into your own ways of blending.
